Ms. Shirin Zaki Participates in International Day of Peace Event in Erbil

On September 21, 2025, Ms. Shirin Zaki, Head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation, took part in an event organized by the Dutch Consulate in Erbil in cooperation with the Ministry of Peshmerga to mark the International Day of Peace.

The event emphasized that lasting peace cannot be achieved without the equal and meaningful participation of women. On this occasion, participants also visited the photo exhibition “Women in the Ranks of the Peshmerga”, which highlights the strength and diversity of the security sector in the Kurdistan Region.
