The Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation (KDWF) is a center for supporting Kurdish women in the European countries and beyond dedicated to empower them in their perspective fields and professions as well as their social standing with emphasis on gender equality in the workplace and at home.

Among KDWF tasks  are:

  •     Assist Kurdish diaspora women to advance their careers and education through various social, educational and cultural settings including career workshops, language classes, arts exhibitions and festivals.

  •     Promote gender-equality and empower women to have their voices heard in all spheres be  it social, educational, political, or creative.

  •     Cater to those who are traumatized by wars and conflicts back in their homeland, and those who are being or have been subjected to any form of gender-based violence.

KDWF operates to address and rectify women's issues in both Kurdistan and the diaspora, and this commitment knows no boundaries or biases. We exist to serve the cause of Kurdish women, irrespective of any distinctive factors.

The Kurdistan Diaspora Federation thrives on unity and is forged from the collective aspirations of those who ardently advocate for women's rights, equality, and social justice. Volunteers who are deeply committed to the cause of women's participation without any form of discrimination, come together under the banner of the Federation, working collaboratively to build a more equitable society.

The Federation also aims to create and/or partner with a network of organizations that are in line with the purpose and philosophy of KDWF. We recognize our duty to actively engage with like-minded organizations and institutions, both at local and international levels, which align with the Federation's overarching goals and purpose. This entails forming networks, direct partnerships, and indirect collaborations with entities that share our vision and are dedicated to the common cause of advancing women's rights, equality, and social justice.
