Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation Holds Webinar for International Women's Day


On the evening of March 7, 2026, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation hosted a webinar to mark March 8, International Women’s Day. The session focused on discussing the challenges and affairs of Kurdish women both in the diaspora and within Kurdistan.

The webinar featured prominent women activists representing the four parts of Kurdistan, each offering unique perspectives on the role and status of Kurdish women:

 * Bahra Hamarash (South Kurdistan)
 * Rodi Ali (West Kurdistan)
 * Chiman Javanroudi (East Kurdistan)
The session was successfully moderated by Ms. Hiwa Hussein, a member of the Federation’s executive board.
