25th Anniversary of UN Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security

The 25th anniversary of the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security was commemorated in a special ceremony chaired by Mr. Rebar Ahmad, Minister of Interior and Chair of the Board for the Implementation of Resolution 1325 and its National Action Plan (Women, Peace and Security).

The event was attended by Ms. Shirin Zeky, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation, along with several ministers, senior government officials, and representatives from UN agencies, international and local organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
