Eighth Anniversary of Kurdistan Independence Referendum Commemorated in Stockholm

On September 25, 2025, the eighth anniversary of the Kurdistan Independence Referendum was celebrated in Stockholm, Sweden. Ms. Evin Sinjar, Head of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation in Sweden, and Ms. Fatma Askar took part in the event.

The commemoration brought together members of the Kurdish diaspora from all four parts of Kurdistan. On this significant day, several activities were held, highlighted by the raising of the Kurdistan flag.
