March 10, 2025 – National Kurdish Clothing Day

Kurdish clothing is a vital part of our national identity and cultural heritage. The Kurdish national dress is one of the most defining symbols of our existence, standing alongside our language, traditions, and customs as sacred markers of our nationality. These elements distinguish us from other nations and affirm our cultural pride.

It is worth noting that March 10 is officially recognized as National Clothing Day in the Kurdistan Region. Every year on this day, students, teachers, and employees in all institutions—especially schools and offices—proudly wear traditional Kurdish attire. They celebrate their heritage, congratulate one another, and honor their identity with dignity.

As Kurdish women of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women's Federation, we are deeply committed to preserving and revitalizing our Kurdish identity. We honor our cultural and national values and proudly celebrate this meaningful occasion.
