Kurdistan Independence Referendum Anniversary Marked in Oslo

On September 25, 2025, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation (KDWF) celebrated the 8th anniversary of the Kurdistan Independence Referendum in Oslo, Norway.The event was led by Ms. Darya Qadir Khoshnaw, Head of KDWF in Norway, with the participation of Ms. Evin Sindhi.

The commemoration began with a peaceful march, as participants carried the Kurdistan flag and wore traditional Kurdish clothing while walking from the train station to the front of the Norwegian Parliament.Following the march, the ceremony continued in front of the parliament, conducted by Ms. Darya Qadir Khoshnaw. The program featured speeches and messages from both Norwegian and Kurdish representatives, and concluded with commemorative activities honoring the historic day.
