On the anniversary of martyr Dr. Abdulrahman Qasemloo

36 years ago, on July 13, 1989, Dr. Abdulrahman Qasemloo, a Kurdish leader and peacemaker, was assassinated in Vienna during secret negotiations with Iran.

Dr. Qasemloo was an educated Kurdish leader and politician. He always tried to resolve the Kurdish issue through peace and dialogue, but unfortunately he was assassinated while they were meeting for peace.

Dr. Qasemloo's dream of democracy and Kurdish rights continues, and remains a symbol of resistance and hope for Kurdish freedom.

May the soul of Dr. Qasemloo and all the martyrs of the Kurdish freedom and independence rest in peace.
