President of Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation, SOS Menschenrechte Delegation, and Barzani Charitable Foundation Visit the Joint Crisis Coordination Center in Erbil

On 18 May 2025, Ms. Sarwa Rasul, Director General of the Joint Crisis Coordination Center (JCC) in Erbil, received a delegation that included Mr. Shirin Zaki, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation; Mr. Hiwa Hussein, Director of Human Rights Projects at SOS Menschenrechte; Mr. Bernd Blanc, General Supervisor of Human Rights Projects; Ms. Gulistan Abdullah, Head of the Public Relations Department at Barzani Charitable Foundation; and Mr. Farzin Begzadeh, Supervisor of the Media and Communications Department at Barzani Charitable Foundation.

During the visit, the two sides held a meeting to discuss pressing migration issues and highlighted the importance of joint efforts and coordination in addressing migration challenges.

The discussion also covered the overall humanitarian situation in the Kurdistan Region, the status of refugees, recent developments, ongoing challenges, and other related issues.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation expressed sincere gratitude, on behalf of the visiting delegation, for the warm welcome and the continued cooperation of the Joint Crisis Coordination Center.
