President of Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation and SOS Menschenrechte Delegation Visit Barzani Charitable Foundation

On 18 May 2025, Ms. Shirin Zaki, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation, along with Mr. Hiwa Hussein, Director of the Human Rights Project at SOS Menschenrechte, and Mr. Bernd Blanc, General Supervisor of Human Rights Projects at SOS Menschenrechte, visited the Barzani Charitable Foundation. The delegation was warmly received by the Foundation's leadership.

During the visit, the delegation expressed their appreciation for the Barzani Charitable Foundation’s efforts in providing humanitarian assistance within Kurdistan, the broader region, and internationally.

The President of the Barzani Charitable Foundation welcomed the delegation’s commitment to human rights and supporting vulnerable communities. She emphasized the importance of greater coordination between the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation, SOS Menschenrechte, and the Barzani Charitable Foundation to promote joint efforts in safeguarding human rights in Kurdistan and beyond.

The Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation also expressed its gratitude to the Barzani Charitable Foundation for its collaboration in conducting research on living conditions in refugee and IDP camps.
