Visit to the Graves of the Martyrs

On 19 May 2025, a delegation including Ms. Shirin Zaki, President of the Kurdistan Diaspora Women’s Federation; Mr. Bernd Blanc, General Supervisor of Human Rights Projects at SOS Menschenrechte; Ms. Hewa Hussein, Director of Human Rights Projects at SOS Menschenrechte; and Ms. Gulistan Abdulaziz, Head of Relations at the Barzani Charitable Foundation, was warmly received by Mr. Sheikh Khalat Barzani.

The delegation laid a wreath at the graves of the martyrs, where Mr. Bernd Blanc expressed his deep appreciation for the opportunity to pay tribute to the fallen heroes. Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the delegation visited the Anfal Monument and the Barzani Memorial Museum.
